On a rather wet Thursday in October, school held its first sponsored Scooter Challenge. Over 200 pupils "scootered" around a course in the school grounds in relays, each having 30 minutes to see how many circuits of the course they could do. A great time was had by all and never before have we seen so many scooters in school!

At the latest count we have already received over £1,600 in sponsor money which is a fantastic achievement raised through a fun activity. We are spending some of the money on decorating and refurbishing our library and buying additional books for it.

Many thanks go to all your family and friends for helping to support this fund raising event. The amount raised has far exceeded our expectations!
